I attended film school at San Francisco State in 1996 and finished my education in Feminist Psychology and Media Studies from New College of California in 2001.
The combination of these areas of study greatly impacted the way I perceive and make media.
I made my first film, Rock in a Hard Place in 2003. It was a short that was adapted from a feature length screen play I had written and would go on to produce and direct in 2005.
I have had the opportunity to work with a range of people – from children on a hillside in San Francisco to Deepok Chopra. I have produced award winning narratives and documentaries, directed commercials for Lesbian Travel Company. And I have had the privilege of cramming into a small theater in Fresno, California for a pizza party screening that had beeb programmed for the LGBT in a widely conservative area.
I feel grateful for the work I have done and I am looking forward to the collaborations that are yet to come, the stories that are yet to come forth.
In addition to producing short and feature films, I have also produced and shot music videos, crowd funding campaign vides, and personal history/personal milestone videos.
